Karen Heath

As a lifetime resident of Vermont, born and raised in the Rutland area, I bring to my business a strong familiarity of people and places. With a background in customer relations, service and marketing I will also bring to buyers and sellers the skills to see that all of their real estate needs will be met.

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent Realtor. In my opinion, the most important is the ability to discover and address the different needs, wants and expectations and concerns of different home sellers and buyers. This ability can only come through really caring about people, together with practical experience and education. I’ve found that the ability to listen and be sensitive to my clients/customers needs is the essence of good service, and everything I do in my work serves this objective.

As an active member of the Rutland County Boards of Realtors, I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Rutland Country Board of Realtors, what I view as an honor to serve the general membership of my fellow Realtors. In the past I was named as Realtor of the Year 2005 for Rutland County. I am a volunteer committee member for the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life for Rutland County.

On the personal side I enjoy almost all outdoor activities throughout our four seasons. I currently reside in Chittenden, with my husband, John and our yellow Lab ‘Abby’.
